Dalian Commodity Exchange Market Update – November 7, 2025

On Friday, November 7, 2025, futures prices for key petrochemical products on the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) showed mixed movements across categories:
LLDPE (January contract): Closed CNY 18/ton higher (equivalent to $3/ton), settling at CNY 6806/ton (approximately $846/ton excluding VAT). The trade volume reached 228,488 tons.
PP (Polypropylene, January contract): Gained CNY 12/ton ($2/ton), finishing at CNY 6464/ton ($803/ton excluding VAT). The trade volume was 256,842 tons.
PVC (January contract): Dropped CNY 12/ton ($2/ton), closing at CNY 4624/ton ($574/ton excluding VAT). The trade volume stood at 613,757 tons.
MEG (Monoethylene Glycol, January contract): Increased CNY 40/ton ($6/ton), ending the session at CNY 3944/ton ($490/ton excluding VAT). The trade volume totaled 257,894 tons.
Overall, polyethylene (LLDPE) and MEG futures registered modest gains, while PVC experienced a slight dip, reflecting cautious market sentiment amid fluctuating raw material and energy prices.
